The Sienna
We all know 'The Rachel' and 'The Pob', those iconic hairstyles that define a whole era and have been replicated by a good chunk of the female population in their efforts to find a new do and emulate their favourite celebrity's style. Well, I've found my own icon in the form of Sienna Miller, not just her boho chic attire but I've ventured into a whole new territory, lusting after those locks of hers.
My current coiffure is what is what I've penned as The Sienna. The ultimate Bohemia babe, Sienna Miller has long inspired my wardrobe which would explain my much too large collection of kimonos, her style influence has worked it's way up to my hairline and I've been wearing a half up top-knot kind of creation à la Sienna.
I saw a picture of her on the MailOnline - everyone visits this website multiple times a day, right? She was sporting a sort of half up half down, messy top knot. I loved the look of it and it has the ever-appealing element of 'the messier the better' which gets a big thumbs up from me.
My lack-lustre photography shows the simplicity of this look. I've been wearing it most days to work and I'm pretty sure if I went a bit bigger on the backcomb I could wear this out for an evening look, too.
Would you rock The Sienna?

Smoothing Duo
Recently my hair has been a little drab to say the least. I could style it with my eyes closed and always reach for my trusty Moroccan Oil and Redken's anti-snap leave-in treatment. Whilst these two products certainly do their job and I have no complaints with either, I wanted to mix it up a little and see what else is on the market. I am pleased as punch with my purchases.
I tottered into town to my local Superdrug and picked up the Tresemme Platinum Strength leave-in treatment and L'oreal Elvive Smooth & Polish Thermo Detangling Spray. Both smell amazing which is always a plus and I like to use them in conjunction with eachother. The Tresemme cream I apply to the ends and the L'oreal detangling spray all over and comb it through. The detangling spray has heat protection which is handly also as I don't have to use a third product like before (note: I like the Tresemme keratin smooth heat protection or L'oreal elnett volume spray which contains heat protectant).
I am loving this combo I've got going on and would recommend to anyone, they are affordable products and available in any Boots or Superdrug. I'm always on the lookout for my hair saviour and I want mine smooth and shiny- check for the smoothness, still need a litlle sumat' sumat' in the shine department.
What are your hair hero products?

Mid Length Love
Mid length hair has been seeing a lot of love recently and I have seen many a celeb go for the chop. As a member of the midi club myself, I am always on the look out for any inspiration for my barnet as it can often feel a little lack lustre and I am a fully fledged member of the top knot club as a go-to hair style so am in need of Spring clean of these locks.
Kate Bosworth is one for the finer hair ladies out there *raises hand*. Kate often wears her hair loose and wavy which adds texture and body, making her hair looking fuller. Bed-hair inspo. Using a conical wand and mussing it up a little achieves these soft curls.
AnnaSophia Robb has gorgeous glossy hair which makes any length or style look instantly fabulous. Backcomb the crown a little, smooth it over a little and use some bobby pins to pin up the tops section.
Alexa Chung, a hair icon for every woman, non? Alexa is known for her tousled hair and this particular look is beautiful and effortless, swept to one side with a little bit of texture through the ends. Use a hair-oil to tame frizz, leave your hair to dry naturally and sweep to one side, using hairspray to keep it in place.
Oiliva Palermo in one word? Polished. The blunt cut looks so chic and there is some serious shine going on. Wouldn't expect anything less from Miss Palermo. A good pump of serum and a finishing shine spray. Gimme!
Elizabeth Olsen, my personal girl crush. Elizabeth seems to go for an undone look and wears her hair with a bit of texture and wave in the ends. A bit of sea salt spray and blowdrying with with your hands in a shaking action will give your this look.
All these looks are beautiful and hopefully give a little inspiration for those days when the trusted top-knot just won't cut it.
What is your go-to hair-do? Any celeb inspo or locks you're lusting for?

Auburn Inspiration
I am very simple with my hair, I've had blonde highlights since I was around 13-14 and then 2 years ago I tried the ombre look and it wasn't all that great or noticeable so I just let it fade out, but it left my hair so dry and it snapped off quite a lot. Since then I have been very careful with my hair and have only coloured it two or three times since, in a salon with highlights I might add, to try and prevent any further damage. So now I have the remnants of the odd slice of blonde in my hair but nothing too exciting. Hence, I am so bored of my hair and I can't afford to keep piling on the notes of ash and bleach blonde (damage wise, though keeping your roots at bay can be costly on your purse too).
My hair does a slight warm tone to it and I have been thinking about having a sort of, for lack of a better word, ginger tone to it. The top left picture is my ideal type of colour I am debating. After a short session on google it turns out this pretty lady is Joséphine de La Baume. Though I also like when Blake Lively went this cool copper colour, though I don't know if I'm brave enough for this. Karen Gillan's auburn is darker and more subtle, at least it is in this picture.
I don't know if I'm at all brave enough to do anything at all with my hair because being blonde feels a bit like a security blanket because I don't really have to think about if a certain colour or tone will look odd or contrast with my hair. Maybe one day I will muster up some courage.

Review: Organix Brazilian Keratin Therapy
The Brazilian Keratin Therapy Shampoo and Conditioner by Oraganix. I have always been interested in anything with the word 'keratin' on it for a hair product. Keratin is a key protein for your hair and nails and as my hair can be dry at times and snap off when it reaches a particular length, very frustrating, I knew I would enjoy these and hopefully benefit from their ingredients. The keratin is meant to be good for strenghtening the hair whilst the coconut oil softens, reduces frizz and adds shine, whilst smelling delicious I might add. I picked these up in Boots for around £4 each which is a great price for a reasonable size bottle.
The shampoo and conditioner are brown in colour, not too pretty but the conditioner in particular smells ah-mazing, almost like chocolate pudding, so good you could eat it.
I definitely think these have made my hair much softer and smoother. Not too sure about strength just yet as I'm about half way through these but my boyfriend mentioned that my hair was looking fuller and healthier, and I haven't been using any new styling products so I'll give credit to these.
The conditioner is thick but not too heavy in my hair, and I even quickly run it through my roots right before I rinse my hair having concentrated on the ends and I haven't found my hair to get greasier any quicker.
One slight negative on these is the shape of the bottle, once you have used about half the bottle, it becomes hard to squeeze out the product, but nothing leaving them upside down in the shower rack can't fix.
I would repurchase these but I am alternating my shampoo and conditioner at the moment as I have a few on the go so we'll see how I feel once I've finished off the bottles. I am always on the look out for strengthening hair products and I have a few more favourites I'll mention later as well as any recommendations being greatly appreciated.
