Mid Length Love

Mid Length Love

Mid length hair has been seeing a lot of love recently and I have seen many a celeb go for the chop.  As a member of the midi club myself, I am always on the look out for any inspiration for my barnet as it can often feel a little lack lustre and I am a fully fledged member of the top knot club as a go-to hair style so am in need of Spring clean of these locks.

Kate Bosworth is one for the finer hair ladies out there *raises hand*. Kate often wears her hair loose and wavy which adds texture and body, making her hair looking fuller. Bed-hair inspo. Using a conical wand and mussing it up a little achieves these soft curls.

AnnaSophia Robb has gorgeous glossy hair which makes any length or style look instantly fabulous. Backcomb the crown a little, smooth it over a little and use some bobby pins to pin up the tops section.

Alexa Chung, a hair icon for every woman, non? Alexa is known for her tousled hair and this particular look is beautiful and effortless, swept to one side with a little bit of texture through the ends. Use a hair-oil to tame frizz, leave your hair to dry naturally and sweep to one side, using hairspray to keep it in place.

Oiliva Palermo in one word? Polished. The blunt cut looks so chic and there is some serious shine going on. Wouldn't expect anything less from Miss Palermo. A good pump of serum and a finishing shine spray. Gimme!

Elizabeth Olsen, my personal girl crush. Elizabeth seems to go for an undone look and wears her hair with a bit of texture and wave in the ends. A bit of sea salt spray and blowdrying with with your hands in a shaking action will give your this look.

All these looks are beautiful and hopefully give a little inspiration for those days when the trusted top-knot just won't cut it.

What is your go-to hair-do? Any celeb inspo or locks you're lusting for?

  1. I've been thinking of cutting my hair like this too, but it's difficult to say bye to the current length! :/
